I’ve never had much of a green thumb. The only thing I really knew for sure about plants was that if I owned one it would die. But if you’ve ever seen my Dad’s backyard, you’d assume I have gardening in my genes. I’ve been buying small specimens here and there (cacti, succulents, etc.) and now I’m hooked. Our kitchen is well lit and the perfect place for plants. The bamboo from our wedding line the cabinet tops. A bromeliad and several common houseplants adorn the bay windows. I’ve even had luck propagating Pothos and Sansevieria. Here are several of the smaller ones on the window sill.

I’m having pretty good luck so far. They all have different needs and require regular attention. None have died yet. Keep your fingers crossed.
